Diamonds To Celebrate Africa

September 13, 2017

FIRST DIAMONDS, Cape Town’s acclaimed diamond merchant and boutique jewellery studio, is celebrating the vibrant colours of Africa with the launch of its exclusive new range: the African Earth Collection.

THE AFRICAN EARTH COLLECTION marks an impressive new addition to First Diamonds’ world-class portfolio of bespoke diamond jewellery, presenting a limited selection of unique pieces that celebrate the vivacious fancy-colour diamonds unearthed from African soils.

For the African Earth Collection, First Diamonds chose to work with the remarkable array of fancy-colour diamonds, their auburn, yellow and gold hues echoing the rolling savannah grasslands, dramatic landscapes and dazzling sunshine of Africa. The considered use of yellow, rose and white gold further enhances the beauty of each stone and echoes the vitality of the continent.

But it is the diamonds that are the star of the exclusive African Earth Collection; the distinctive structure and colour of each stone guiding the First Diamonds designers in creating this extremely limited range of sought-after jewellery pieces. With each item built around a unique and irreplaceable fancy-colour diamond, the pieces in the African Earth Collection also offer unmatched exclusivity.

The passion and skill of the craftsmen in First Diamonds’ Cape Town diamond studio is evident in the intricate designs of the African Earth Collection. In each piece a galaxy of smaller stones is meticulously arranged to enhance the stature of the signature diamond. A perfect example of this is the star in the African Earth Collection: an extraordinary ring featuring a single 4.6-carat fancy-colour stone surrounded by 72 perfectly matched diamonds, the glittering gems all encircled by white and yellow gold.

The sparkling treasures of the African Earth Collection can be discovered at the elegant First Diamonds jewellery studio situated in the heart of cosmopolitan Cape Town. Consultations are strictly by appointment only.
